So, there hasn't actually been much time for music these days besides all the MauthausenGOSPEL! fun. :)
Our last performance of the season is coming up this week. We'll be doing a concert in the courtyard of a recovery clinic in Linz.
Part of the reason things have been so busy, is that we are working on opening a new multicultural venue/rehearsal space/meeting spot/coffeehouse... let's just call it WELCOME.
We look forward to hosting regular open mic nights, concerts, jam sessions, choir rehearsals, and lots of other non-music related events.
Our website is only in German at the moment, but you can still check out the pictures and see what fun things Google Translate comes up with: www.WelcomeAll.at
Hi there! I found this recording from maybe last year sometime..? Not exactly sure, but I thought I would share it. Feel free to download and add to your playlists.
And- Christmas performances are well underway! I'll be playing with a band of friends this evening at our town's Christkindlmarkt, and there are still some chances to see the choir in action. Here are the dates!
We are back in Austria, enjoying the fall season, and dusting off our Christmas music for Advent performances (dates to be announced soon). And.. I have finally posted some audio files. The first one "Help Me Understand" is an original that was recorded live in August 2016 by Michael Leavitt in Gilbert, AZ. Vladislav Beba joined me on the bass.
The other two songs are covers "Make You Feel my Love" and "Amazing Grace," from a performance in April 2016 at a women's banquet here in upper Austria.
I do hope to have more recordings to share in the future. As always, I would love to collaborate more, so please contact me if you're interested in putting something together!
We have been having a great adventure around the US this summer! It has been cool to share music and stories with so many new friends across Florida, Texas, Colorado, Oregon, and Arizona and California.
